Here’s a recipe that usually traces in about 10-15 minutes, sometimes faster. I admit that I use a stick blender, so that helps the speed.
56 oz. soybean oil
40 oz. palm kernel oil
37 oz. olive oil
24 oz. coconut oil
8 oz. cocoa butter
4 oz. castor oil (add at trace)
18.5 oz. lye
54.5 oz. water
I mix when oils and lye are at 110°F-115°F.
