Karen’s Recipe for “Mint Splash” Goat Milk Soap

24 oz. olive oil
24 oz. coconut oil
38 oz. vegetable shortening (Crisco)

12 oz. lye
16 oz. water

After oils and lye water are cooled to about 100-105 I mix them together. Right before or at a light trace I mix in 16 oz. of fresh goat’s milk warmed up to room temp, 2 oz. of peppermint EO and 2 oz. of spearmint EO. I also add liquid chlorophyll for the color!

Pour into molds and let set all covered up for 24 hours.
