Pat’s Lavender Goat Milk Soap Recipe

25 oz. Coconut Oil
25 oz. Palm Oil
4 oz. Castor Oil
42 oz. Olive Oil
14.4 oz. Lye
7 oz. Water
7 oz. Goat’s Milk
3 T. Lavender EO

Heat oil to temperature. Blend lye solution and the oils. Hand stir for approximately 10 minutes, then blend to trace with a stick blender to light trace. Add 2-3 tablespoons of EO. Pour into lined mold. Cover and let it reach gel stage. Uncover to let cool lightly. Cut into bars in 24 hours. Cure 3-4 weeks. Makes approximately 6 pounds.

Lye temperature: 90-95°
Fat temperature: 100-110°
