I am fairly new at soapmaking but made a soap for acne and it worked great, this was not used on teenage skin though. I used a basic recipe and steeped red clover in the H2O as red clover, elder flowers, chamomile and licorice unclog pores, refine and heal skin. Also any of the antiseptic herbs like eucalyptus, tea tree, sage and rosemary are great E.O.s to add. I added honey and pulverized oatmeal. You do not want the bar to scrub like an exfoliant as this is bad for acne.
