Milk ‘n’ Honey with Oatmeal Soap Recipe
42 oz. olive oil
28 oz. coconut oil
18 oz. shortening
1 Tbsp. GSE
1 Tbsp. vitamin E
33 1/2 oz. buttermilk (cold!)
5 tsp. sea salt (dissolved in milk)
5 tsp. sugar (dissoved in milk)
12.7 oz. lye
At trace add:
4 Tbsp. raw honey
1 cup baby oatmeal (or regular oatmeal ground to a powder)
2 Tbsp. Castor oil
2.8 oz. EO for effect and scent (optional)
Milk/lye temperature: 95°
Oils/fat temperature: 95°
This soap is wonderful… smells like a Bit o’ Honey bar.
