Simple Castile Soap Recipe

I think that the best soap for babies would be a nice pure castile. This consists of olive oil, water and lye. I always tend to steer to the castiles as I have very sensitive skin and I can use them with no problem. I would personally add no scent as sometimes these can be a problem.

32 oz. olive oil (for the whitest bar, use a gold colored olive oil)
4 oz. lye
12 oz. water

Mix lye/water with oils at about 100°F.

If you wanted to make nice little round bars, these would be good to mold in the bottom of yogurt containers. (I love those little bars…)
